A museum for migrant children and youth
In 2015, GFC partner Voces Mesoamericanas Acción con Pueblos Migrantes inaugurated the Migrant Museum – an interactive space that showcases the artwork of migrant Indigenous children and youth. Since then, the museum has encouraged hundreds of young people to express their dreams, hopes, and fears through art, and it has shared their stories with communities around the world. Starting a career in philanthropy
Before Xanthe Tunley-Stainton joined GFC last year, she had never considered a career in philanthropy. Through a UK program to help young people find meaningful job opportunities, however, Xanthe was able to gain valuable experience as a Team Support Assistant at GFC, where she discovered her passion for civil society work.
