Accurate Group launched its remote data collection technology to enable interior property inspections to be conducted virtually when more than an exterior inspection is required, the company announced in a press release.
The Directed Remote Data Collection (DRDC) technology solution from Accurate Group’s GroundWorks division enables independent property data collectors to work directly with homeowners in a remote setting, to collect property data and photos in real-time. Accurate Group’s DRDC technology solution is the only remote data collection and inspection solution with appraiser independence built in to ensure compliance.
The COVID-19 pandemic poses new challenges for real estate lenders. Although interest rates are low, fueling demand for home refinance, purchase and home equity loans, borrowers are wary of letting strangers – including appraisers and property data collectors – into their homes. Accurate Group’s DRDC solution solves this challenge, the company said.
“By using our DRDC technology, lenders are able to keep their businesses on track during this challenging time, while keeping borrowers and property data collectors safe and engaged,” Accurate Group President and CEO Paul Doman said in the release. “To truly enable a complete digital mortgage, lenders need to think more holistically and build out an end-to-end technology platform that supports the entire process.
“Our appraisal, property data collection, title and closing technologies are designed to plug into any digital platform, making Accurate Group the ideal choice for lenders who want to drive greater efficiency, improve loan turn times and ultimately better serve the consumer,” Doman added.
Accurate Group is a leading provider of technology-driven real estate appraisal, title data, analytics and eClosing solutions.
