The goal of this workshop is to help foster energy education by connecting science to the natural gas and oil industry. During the workshop, you will learn about the natural gas and oil industry, receive curriculum books that include backgrounds, hands-on activities, word walls and career connections for each unit, participate in activities, and interact with your fellow workshop attendees. You will also be equipped with activity supplies and numerous other materials and resources to take back to your classroom!

WORKSHOP SCHEDULE
8:30 AM - 9:00 AM - Check-In & Light Contintental Breakfast
9:00 AM - 5:00 PM - Workshop: Special industry guest speakers, curriculum review, hands-on lessons and more conducted throughout the day. Box lunches will be provided. The following topcs will be covered:
CEU certification will be provided at the conclusion of the workshop or mailed shortly after.

Ashland University Graduate Credit: At a cost, workshop participants are eligible for Ashland University graduate credit if a field trip is attended and additional classroom work is completed. There will be more details about this opportunity during the workshop.
