Criminal Justice Reform Bill Includes Police Licensing Changes

A controversial criminal justice reform bill includes police licensing changes. The bill expands the list of crimes that could cause officers to lose their certification. Misconduct records would also follow officers to any Illinois police department. A special prosecutor would be required in all police-involved killings. Governor J.B. Pritzker has indicated he will sign the bill.
