USHJA Continues Educational Offerings at Pony Finals

Horsemanship Clinics Open to Competitors and General Public

Lexington, Ky.—June 11, 2019—This August, the USHJA will once again offer free educational horsemanship clinics at the 2019 USEF Pony Finals, presented by Collecting Gaits Farm, at the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington. The expanded menu of educational clinics will be open to both competitors and the general public.

As in prior years, USHJA will offer model, judge's perspective and sports psychology clinics to participants in the USEF Pony Finals. Returning this year, four additional educational sessions will be offered covering bits, horse and rider turnout, how to walk a course and proper longeing techniques.

Competitors interested in participating in the model clinics must sign up on Monday during the rider bag pick up. Other sessions do not require any sign up but are first come, first served, and all clinics are free.
