MERIT Summer Learning Award.png

MERIT was honored to receive the Excellence in Summer Learning Award from the National Summer Learning Association (NSLA) earlier this month. Out of 250 applicants, MERIT was one of only three national winners! This prestigious award came with a $10,000 prize and the opportunity to present at the NSLA's national conference in Atlanta. This summer, MERIT ran four different summer programs in which scholars shadowed health care providers across Baltimore, engaged in high-level laboratory biomedical research, and served their communities at local non-profit organizations.
