POSITION SUMMARY
We are seeking a qualified Accounting and Treasury Specialist to join our innovative team! The Accounting and Treasury Specialist is responsible for the daily determinations of cash positions as well as reconciling Mathy bank accounts and ancillary general ledger accounts along with additional duties as assigned. This is a full-time position located in Onalaska, WI working Monday through Friday.
Additional responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Determine the daily cash position of Mathy Construction Company.
- Communicate cash position with the ALM Cash Manager.
- Create and distribute reports to the appropriate staff members as needed.
- Record monthly cash activity journal entries and allocations.
- Work with Division Controllers to balance monthly cash activity.
- Coordinate the recording of credit card activity in the accounting system.
- Manage the accounting process for the Information Systems department.
- Assist the Corporate Controller with various accounting reconciliations.
- Assist with special projects and other duties as requested by management.
- Identify problems as they occur and initiate appropriate corrective actions.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Two or four year business related degree is desired.
- Ability to protect the confidentiality of company information.
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office).
- Perform all functions with a high degree of accuracy and within all set timelines.
- Must be detail oriented and have strong work ethic.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving and multi-tasking skills.
