Strengthen the parent-child relationship by helping families recognize the satisfaction and value of engaging with their children and supporting their learning through daily, routine experiences in the home and community by providing weekly home visits to the families and providing social experiences at a socialization site. The Early Head Start Program is administered by Three Rivers Community Action, Inc., a non-profit agency providing economic opportunities that strengthen individuals, families and communities in southeastern Minnesota.
This full time position (40 hours per week) will be based in Zumbrota with frequent travel throughout Rice, Goodhue and Wabasha Counties.

Qualifications:
- Child Development Associate (CDA) or Associate of Arts (AA) in Family/Parent Education, Early Childhood Education or related field of study
- Experience working with expectant mothers and/or families with infants and toddlers and linking them to appropriate services
- Working knowledge of community resources
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strongly prefer proficiency in Spanish and/or Somali, as well as English
- Ability to lift/carry 50 pounds, reach above shoulder level, bend/stoop, squat, crawl, sit on floor, climb stairs, kneel, balance and push/pull
