ABOUT PCFF

PCFF was made to celebrate the talent of student filmmakers and to realize a space for community building. Palomar College's inaugural student short film festival is organized by Palomar Film Club. As students of Palomar's media studies program, we've seen the amazing work produced by our peers and wanted to craft an event that recognizes students' creativity and hard work. With this event we hope to spark excitement for the art of filmmaking, connect emerging filmmakers and enjoy great films!

ABOUT PALOMAR FILM CLUB

PFC celebrates the art of cinema via weekly screenings, discussions, and zine publication. Since Spring 2021, PFC has screened over 60 films from a diverse range of genres, artistic movements and cultures. The club is open to all students regardless of major. The discussions pre- and post-screening encourage media literacy and knowledge of film history to further enrich enjoyment of films.
