The Education Office: Science Adventures

Science Classes for Kids and Families

Fermilab offers classes for children and families during the summer months of June, July and August and on Saturdays during the school year. Experienced instructors teach classes covering a variety of science and mathematics topics. Announcement brochures are available in April, August and December. Use the orange menu on the right to look for adventures and register. Call us to request a copy of the current brochure, add your name to the mailing list and ask questions regarding registration. Opportunities for Instructors

The Education Office has openings for instructors who wish to develop and teach these enrichment classes. Instructors may choose what they wish to teach and the target audience, students (preK-8), or families. The instructor and program leader decide when and how often the adventure is offered. Interested instructors must fill out a class proposal form.
