The CPHA Emerging Leaders Committee (ELC) is currently seeking nominations for our Emerging Leaders Spotlight! 

In each of our monthly newsletters, CPHA’s Emerging Leaders Committee will shine the spotlight on an Emerging Leader who has demonstrated exemplary service to the field of public health.

Who is an ‘Emerging Leader’?

The term ‘Emerging Leader’ encompasses all individuals early in their public health careers and/or current students within a public-health related academic program.

Who should I be nominating?

Qualified candidates should have significantly contributed efforts that advance or promote the field of public health within (but not limited to) the following environments: 

1. Community (including service efforts or volunteer efforts that promote public health)

2. Work

3. School

4. CPHA or other Public Health-related professional association

5. Research or other academic/professional venture

By submitting a nomination for the Emerging Leaders Spotlight to ELC, you, as the nominator, agree to the following: 

1. CPHA ELC have permission to contact the nominator for the following:

1. Additional information regarding your nomination

2. CPHA ELC have permission to contact the and nominee for the following:

1. Acceptance of this nomination and permission for CPHA ELC to highlight them in an upcoming edition of the monthly ELC Newsletter 

2. Request/permission for the use of a headshot (to be featured alongside the newsletter article)
