Teasing the Princess

Roone

She’s gone. Someone took her from me.

I knew I wasn’t supposed to fall in love. But I did it anyway. And now it might have cost my princess - the princess - her life.

I won’t stop until I find her. But when I do, I’ll need to stay away. She won’t survive the scandal. There’s no way I can love her and protect her.

I'll have to choose one.

Jessa

Apparently, I can’t trust anyone.

I’ve never been in love before. Leave it to me to fall for the wrong guy.

A liar.

Roone Ainsley cost me a life I loved.

So now I’m on a quest I didn’t ask for. One that will lead me to a crown I’m not sure I want. To a family I didn’t know I needed.

Wall Street Journal & USA Today Bestselling author, Nana Malone writes Sexy Feel-Good Romance and loves of all things romance and adventure.

That love started with a tattered romantic suspense she "borrowed" from her cousin. It was a sultry summer afternoon in Ghana, and Nana was a precocious thirteen. She's been in love with kick butt heroines ever since. With her overactive imagination, and channeling her inner Buffy, it was only a matter a time before she started creating her own characters.

OMG…..this is the EXACT ending I was hoping for from Jessa and Roone’s story!!

Teasing the Princess picks up right where Royal Tease ended. And let me just say, that cliffhanger was a B*TCH!! (But in a totally good way, trust me!)

So much happens in this book that revolves around everything that has happened over the course of each duet. And it finally concludes here. Suspense, drama, heartache, loyalty, devotion, and romance all blend together in this remarkable conclusion to a royal romance that evokes compassion, anguish, and elation from the reader.

I wish I could go into specific detail about what actually happens in this book, but that would completely ruin it for all the readers that haven’t been introduced to these fabulous royals. But what I will say about Jessa and Roone is that they are absolutely perfect for one another. The both share a need and ambition to define themselves as more than what happened to them in their past. And as much as they want that, they each struggle with actually believing in themselves and others around them and accept that their pasts don’t define who they are deep inside. That the love and dedication to the people around them is also reflected back onto them.

Through all the twists and turns, the exciting ups and inevitable downs, and the secrets and lies, unconditional love and support is found, even through the darkest of times.

The Royal United Duet was undoubted intriguing and exciting to read! The romance was sizzling, the characters were 100% unique, and the story line was flawlessly written. Please, PLEASE pick up this duet. Better yet, start off with Sebastian’s story in the Royals Undercover Duet, then onto Lucas’ tale in the Royals Undone Duet. These books do not disappoint!!

5 Stars!

Gah FINALLY, I feel like I’ve been waiting way too long for the second book in Roone and Jessa’s story.

ARC received in exchange for an honest review

So, book two starts off where book one left us, with the truth finally coming out. I’ve been waiting so long to see what would actually go down between these two but what we actually got was so unexpected and gah, I absolutely LOVED this book so much.

Roone, the royal bodyguard is as amazing as he was in the first book. He’s cocky, sure of himself and you can’t help but love him. He’s loyal and fiercely protective of the ones he loves and won’t stand down until his job is complete.

Jessa, the lost princess. She’s smart and beautiful and independent. She loves taking things into her own hands and getting the work done. She’s stubborn and unforgiving but rightly so. She finds it hard to trust after everything she’s had to endure and this books shows us just how much she struggles with that. Jessa has quickly became my favourite female, she’s caring and is willing to put her own life in danger to make sure the ones she loves aren’t. I really admired that about her, she’s amazing.

The journey this book took us on was bumpy, a rollercoaster of emotions that hit you constantly and have you left feeling all the feels. The ups and downs, the heartbreak and happiness everything mixed perfectly together to make the perfect second book to this series.

Nana Malone did incredible with this beauty. Her royal books have taken over my heart and I just love every single one of these characters in the book, even the secondary ones (from earlier books), you just can’t help but love them.

Nana is definitely my go to author for Royal books, I’ve never read a royals series that got me as invested as these ones have. I’m extremely excited to see where Ariel’s book takes us.

This book was a freaking adventure!!!!

After the way book one of the Royals United duet ended, I was so excited to start this one. Obviously with this being a duet, things were left unresolved in book one. But there was one heck of a cliffhanger and I was desperate to get a resolution. This book took care of everything. The ending was bittersweet and yet satisfying. Roone and Jessa were perfection. I loved their whole romance and the way things played out once the big secret was revealed. I loved the way all the Royals were finally united. It was pretty funny at times, very steamy at others. Overall it was just great and one I'd highly recommend.

The chase is on and Malone invites readers along for the ride. Teasing the Princess picks up right where Royal Tease left off. Jessa and Roone are worlds apart as danger closes in. Will the bodyguard be able to shield his own heart from the wary, but fearless Princess? Teasing the Princess is a mysterious adventure that has temptation written all over it. Can you keep up? Cause these Royals will leave you breathless and craving more. Malone keeps getting better.

This was my second book from Nana Malone. Since I requested the book based on the blurb and the title I wasn’t aware it was a series so I went back and read the first book of the ‘Royals United’ series ‘Royal Tease’ first. And I am proud to say I am glad I requested this book and get a chance to find a new author that I will be following. Reading the ‘Royal Tease’ wasn’t the only thing I did because I fell in love with the series and start reading both Sebastian and Lucas’s duets.

First off I am sooooo glad I start reading the ‘Royals United’ duet after receiving ‘Teasing Princess’ because I really hate cliffhangers and by the way first book ended it would have drove me nuts LOL! For all of you, who were waiting for this book, I respect you a lot. Before getting into Roone and Jessa’s story, who are our hero and heroine in ‘Royals United’, I want to take you guys all to the beginning 🙂 Just a quick note you do not have to finish the previous duets to read this one. But I really enjoyed this duet so I went back and read them all 🙂

It all starts with ‘Royals Undercover’ duet when Winston Isles’s Crown Prince Sebastian learns that he has a half-brother and a half-sister, whom his father wants to find and gave them their titles. Sebastian decides to find them on behalf of his father. During the course of the events they figure out there is a group of people who are against this and they kill the King and also try to assassinate Sebastian. This duet ends up with Sebastian finding his brother and also love of his life. Second duet ‘Royals Undone’ is about Lucas, the lost prince and his story will take you an action filled journey(OMG! I think this was a really short overview. I am so sorry if it got annoying for you guys). Annnndddd that leads us to lost princess Jessa’s story. Jessa McLean is beautiful, smart, feisty and stubborn. She works for a PR company in London and clueless about being a royal or having a family. Roone Ainsley is a Royal Guard. He is also King Sebastian’s best friend since their teenage years. He is sexy, sweet, super loyal and stubborn. When he gets an assignment of protecting the princess, he and his partner Ariel goes under cover in order to get close to Jessa. This is a little problematic for Roone because first he sucks at lying and second he is having a hard time to keep his hands to himself when it comes to Jessa. On the first book, you get a chance to see Roone and Jessa’s hate/love relationship and it is really entertaining to read and how their relationship evolves until the moment Jessa learns Roone is lying to her. Jessa runs away to figure out the truth and this will lead her to a new adventurous, life-changing journey. I am not going into specific details about the story because I don’t want to ruin it for you guys so if you are curious about Jessa and Roone’s crazy journey, grab your copy and enjoy the ride 🙂

‘Teasing Princess’ is sweet, emotional, steamy and fast paced story that you won’t be able to put it down until you are done with it. I loved all the royal series, I read from Nana Malone. I think she did an incredible job with her main and secondary characters. They were all amazing. There are so many secondary characters that I hope will get their own stories. I know at least Ariel will be getting her story next so stay tuned for ‘Royal Elite’ series. Hopefully after Ariel, we will get a chance to read Jinx and London Lords: Ben, East, Bridge’s stories next.

Would I recommend this book: Yes.
Would I re-read this book: Yes.
Would I read future books by this author: Yes.

Teasing the Princess is book 2 in the Royals United Series and boy oh boy did it keep me on my toes. We left off in book 1 with lots of questions and some serious drama. Jessa had just found out the truth about who Roone was and before he could clear things up with her she went on the run. Book 2 picks up right where book 1 ends as Jessa comes to terms with finding out she is actually a lost princess.

This series has had me hooked from the very start and each book keeps getting better and better. I love these characters and love how every book lets me catch up with everyone from the previous books. This book is also written from multiple points of view so we really get the story from multiple angles.

Jessa and Roone have such amazing chemistry and I loved getting even more of their story. There is danger, suspense and many twists and turns while trying to figure out who is after Jessa and who is out to bring down the Royal family. This book also focuses more on Ariel and gives us a gimps at her life as part of the Winston Isles Team.

If you have not read the first books in this series you are missing out. Starting with the Royals Undercover series so that you know the full story is your best bet, and I promise, you will not be disappointed. There is love, heartbreak, suspense and drama that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

One click this series ASAP! - By Alisa

Action packed, edge of your seat type entertainment as Jessa tries to navigate her new normal life as a princess. The threats are everywhere and you never really know who to trust. In the midst of all of it, there’s still a touch of romance and a little steamy action as Jessa and Roone try to navigate their feelings for each other. Great read.

Teasing the Princess was a cute conclusion to Jessa and Roone's love story, i think this series is so great because even though every main character has their own story line you still get to read what each of them are going through in their sibling's book.

This book starts right where we left off in the last book and it does not slow down, there is so much going on, it's one crazy adventure after another. I love the dynamic between Roone and Jessa, i especially love what ends up happening in Roone's life towards the end of the book because he definitely deserves that and much more.

I can't wait until the story of Ariel comes out, because she definitely went through some shit in this book. There were so many moments that were heartfelt and moments that were action pack. I can't wait to see what else does Nana have in store for us when it comes to the royals.

The Royals are finally all together!  King Sebastian has found both his brother Lucas and his sister Jessa, and he just must find a way to keep them alive.  The Heirs of Angelus are determined to get to Jessa and turn her against her true family, so they can take the throne, now Jessa doesn’t know who to believe.  Her father had always kept her on the move, leaving in the middle of the night telling her people were after them, but he was mentally ill, or was he?  Now with nothing left except a file her father left her, Jessa doesn’t know who to trust.  Does she trust the words of a dead crazy man or does she trust a group of people that claim to only want to love and protect her.  With a gorgeous bodyguard that lied to her, Jessa doesn’t know if her relationship with Roone was part of his mission to protect her, or if it was some sick game to him and he was just Teasing the Princess.

Nana Malone continues with the Royal stories in this latest release of Teasing the Princess.  With tempers boiling over and love overflowing Malone brings back characters from the previous royal books that draw the whole story together.  I absolutely love this series and can’t wait to read Ariel’s story Royal Elite that is coming out soon.  With great writing Malone paints tropical pictures of the Winston Ilse that make the reader feel like they can smell the hibiscus and warm sun on their skin.  With some kickass action and a crazy stalker and a little hot and heavy romance I can’t give Teasing the Princess anything but 5-stars!  Read this book along with all the rest in the series, I meant it people…. read it, you won’t be disappointed.

Teasing The Princess picks up from where Royal Tease left off so you do need to read that first.

After the cliffhanger ending of Royal Tease I’ve been not so patiently waiting to see what’s going to happen to Roone and Jessa now. There’s a lot going on for both these characters and as the story unfolds there’s plenty of secrets, lies and suspense that’ll keep you on your toes trying to figure out what exactly is going on.

I’m a huge fan of this authors Royals duets and Roones and Jessas story was everything I was hoping it would be. Now all I need is Ariels story and I’ll be a happy woman!

A little too predictable for my tease, but it is just my opinion. The book carry on with the story started in the previous one. Overall it's well written, gives the characters the right path to find the real happiness. It completed the puzzle. A puzzle made by lots of ups & downs, by smiles and doubts, by meltdowns and hopes.
But like I said no matter the enjoyable chemistry between the main characters, the story is too obvious, how is going to end.

Teasing the Princess picks up right after Royal Tease left off. Jessa has taken off and now it's up to the man who loves her (even if he has yet to admit it - to himself or to anyone else) to get her back. But, Jessa's no wilting wallflower. She wants answers, so she goes directly to the source to get those answers. Only, she may not like the answers she gets.

Sebastian and Lucas have their sister back and they mean to protect her. But not in a you can't leave kind of way, just in a you're our sister so we want to keep you safe kind of way. But what of Roone? The bodyguard turned suitor. The man whose heart Jessa holds in her hands? Will he and Jessa be able to work things out? Can he (and the King and the prince and the Royal Guards) keep everyone safe? What of the threat of the Heirs of Angelus?

Nana Malone hit this one out of the park, the entire duet, no, the entire royal story line. It's full of twists and turns and surprises, it's really sexy, and the connection between not just this couple, but all the couples and their extended crew, is strong and able to withstand everything that's thrown at them. Ariel's story is next, I can't wait!

Real family real life real love . . .

Love the final book of the series and the closing of this duet. The princess and her story. This was one that made the whole series come together. Royals United felt like more than just a love story. It felt like a story of family. I got some unexpected and some expected. Well worth the reads and I do advise for full enjoyment to read them all from the very beginning.

Picking up from where Royal Tease ended, this installment propels the reader back into the maelstrom that is Roone and Jessa. The cliffhanger at the end of the last one had my jaw on the ground, thanks for that mini panic attack, Ms. Malone. These two are so very similar. The sparks fly continuously. Lies and untold truths surface at the most impossible moments. Those who are supposed to be brethren are not who they appear to be, leaving both the main characters questioning almost everything from the minute they were born.

Jessa, for a considerable amount of this duet, is forced into a defensive stance; reacting more than she would like. Able to defend herself and those she comes to love. I was awestruck with the considerable amount of twists and turns. Almost every event and action created cause to be questioned.

Thankfully the heat and romance were still off the charts. True Nana Malone style, the characters aren’t easily wooed or subdued. Even when they come together it still takes work from both sides to keep the flowers blossoming and the plant healthy.

One particular character questions the rightfulness of their relationship and whether it would be accepted by anyone in a station of power.

"...I think it’s fantastic. You love her. Clearly, she loves you. So why are we even talking about it?"
"Well, okay, if it doesn’t matter to you, it will certainly matter to the Council."

Memories are turned on their head and their true meanings are uncovered for both Roone and Jessa. So many ventriloquists are pulling strings from the backgrounds it made my head begin to spin. As it all was laid out though it made so much more sense. Questions that were asked way back in the beginning of this series are finally answered. Just don’t believe for one minute that all the questions we have are finally answered. That’s not who this author is at all.

Even on uneven footing, Jessa took so many risks to uncover the truth. She was determined and sure, such a strong heroine who also needed tenderness and love, much like most real-life women. Jessa spoke to me, and I empathised with her and her plight on a fundamental level.

‘It was weird being home. It had only been a week, but it felt like a lifetime. Like everything in my life had changed...the things I knew to be true, the things I knew to be me.’

I would be remiss and would certainly have poor judgment if I did not mention Ariel. She has been on the page since the very beginning of these duets and I have grown to adore who she is. Sacrifice is not a stranger to this woman and I can certainly see why the author took her in the direction she did.

"Don’t you get it? Those guys in there, they are my family. I don’t want to have to say goodbye to them. I just wanted to slip into the darkness and start a new chapter in my life."

I have come to adore these whacky people and their intricate relationships. The checks and minus’ of life; like any family they argue and fight, they will always fight for each other harder than ever.
Thank you, Ms. Malone, for once again outdoing yourself and bringing us yet another wonderful installment from the Winston Isles. Team WI all the way!!

Teasing the Princess is the conclusion to Royal Tease, which left us on a cliffhanger. Thus we enter book two of a bodyguard/royalty/work mashup romance mixed with opposites attract. Having read book one of this series, I was acquainted with the characters and plot.

This book sees our characters piecing together so much of their past and finding a new place for themselves in a new family and place. A lot happens, a lot to keep track of, and some of it with characters from book one, and from past books. Then, just when you think all the plot twists have been tied up neatly in a bow, pow! Another bit you almost forgot comes back to the forefront and knocks everyone for a loop!

Jessa has a quirky past that has led her to make some rash decisions and jump to some perhaps unorthodox conclusions. Roone is the hapless bodyguard who is working without all the info on a protectee who doesn't know she's being protected or why. Their antics are both funny and frustrating. The chapters being told by alternating characters kept the reader mostly in the loop, feeling like an omniscient narrator who is watching a train wreck happen.

These two already crossed all the bodyguard lines in book one. Since we knew they liked each other and set each other on fire, this book had to work a little harder to have Jessa and Roone connect, but despite all the changes happening around them, they still have the chemistry, still have the heat, still manage to connect and be there for each other.

Again, I thought the style was a bit choppy. I really need to go read Lucas and Sebastian's stories for a better backstory for this author's character world. There were a lot of explanations that I needed to reread to get the details straight to make sense, and a family tree or diagram of the factions would have been helpful! But I did want to know who was the after the princess, and how this whole crazy royal family worked everything out.

You can easily tell this is definitely part of a larger novel universe, and while many questions were answered, I felt out of the loop not knowing all the royal family. So I may need to go find those. But it was a good read and I'm game for any future books in the series.

Favorite Quotes:
“I hated to say it, but the Winston Isles felt like I belonged. … The moment I put my feet in that bath water warm ocean, the soft waves lapping at my toes, my body instantly relaxed.”
“So, we're still going to pretend that you and my sister aren't a thing?”
If you love her, like actually love her...then don't be a twat.”

Star Ratings:
Plot = 4/5 Characters = 4/5 Heat = 4/5 Writing Style = 4/5 Overall Rating = 5/5

This is the second book in the series and they need to be read in order.

Jessa McLean has just been hit with some extremely unexpected news and now she is headed to Winston Isles to find out who she really is.

Roone Ainsley is supposed to be the bodyguard for his best friend's sister but he is not expecting Jessa to get the drop on him and vanish.

As Jessa learns who she really is, she must still rely on Roone for protection after it is clear that she may still be in danger. But can Roone still protect Jessa when his heart is broken and she wants nothing more to do with him?

This was such a great conclusion to the first book with some great twists and turns to keep you wondering what was going to happen next.

I really liked Jessa and I can't imagine what she was going through when she learned how much of her life was not what she thought it was. I understood why she was mad at Roone but it felt like he got most of her anger.

I thought Roone was a great character and I was definitely sad at how he felt losing Jessa and knowing how mad she was at him. He needed to gain her trust back but I knew it was not going to be easy. Yet he was also extremely dedicated at his job and no matter how upset he was at losing Jessa he would still lay down his life for her.

There was so much chemistry between Roone and Jessa and I had my fingers crossed that they were going to be able to work through everything. They were so good together and I loved their banter.

I loved all of the mystery between who was stalking Jessa and if that was the same person after her. The book made you keep flipping the pages as everything was becoming bigger and bigger. I was shocked at some of the reveals and how everything was going down!!

There were definitely some shocking moments and I was upset about what happened to Chloe!

I loved when Roone and Jessa finally started working things through and getting back on the same page!!

The end was awesome but I was upset with what Ariel decided to do although I look forward to her book!

Five ROYAL stars! HEA for the lost Princess and the British soldier…

Nana Malone has destroyed me again! There is no doubt that she is the queen of the Royal Romances. When someone ask me for a Royal Romance, her books are the first that come to my mind. This time she penned a brilliant and EPIC ending to the Royals United Series. Teasing the Princess is the gem of the crown! It has the right amount of suspense, adventure, self-discovery and sexy moments that make the book worth of the time you will spend reading it. There are too many surprises and twists that made me lose my mind. So much happened in this book that revolves around all that happened over the course of each duet. This book reveals more than you can think, trust me!

The chase is on and this book invites you to enjoy the ride in the Royal World. Nana Malone did an outstanding work with this duets. These Royals will literally ruin you. Beware that these books are not like the typical Royal Romances because each one is unique an original. Each duet is interconnected and although they can be read separately the reader will enjoy them more if they are read in the correct order because it will involve a better enjoyment of such a wonderful world created by a talented writer who deserves a rain of stars for every book written.

Picking up from where Royal Tease ended, this instalment propels the reader back into the swirl that is Roone and Jessa. Their romance was extremely explosive and the attraction was out of the charts. The sparks fly continuously. They are too similar and so good for each other. The lies will turn into twisted half-truths and the secrets will be discovered. Everything will make sense after all the smoke and mirrors around the Winston Islands. The danger was closer than they though. Apparently they couldn’t trust anyone. The drama, heartache, loyalty and devotion pour in every page of this remarkable conclusion to a royal romance that evokes angst, suspense, action and everything a reader crave.

Jessa is determined to find out the answers to the questions she’d had for most in her life. She lived watching out her back all the time because unknown people tried to hurt her in the past. She is not sure who to trust but at the end she win a family she tough she doesn’t need, a love she desperate craved and a life she recovered. The man she loves lied to her but he did it because he was protecting her. Roone is the man she craves but lies destroyed her and forget and forgive won’t be easy. I do really respect her for the strong woman she is. She is sassy an impetuous. The perfect heroine. The Princess that does more than wearing fancy clothes and a sparkling tiara.

Roone is a wet dream. He is sin and temptation wrapped in a sexy body. His loyalty does not have limits as his love. Protecting Jessa was hard but falling for her was harder. The soldier set his eyes on the Princess. Roone is an arrogant, loyal, self-assured man. He is more than a simple Royal Guard because his blood is quite blue too.

For the first time in my reading life, I was highly invested in a series that displayed consuming and mind-blowing plots that provoked so much and turned my insides into a soft puddle. They blew my mind and made me forget all around me.

This is the second part of an intriguing duet that finally sees Jessa having the family and life denied her for so long. This is an interesting story that has lots of offshoots, making it an enjoyable read.

When Roone decides to finally tell Jessa the truth, she is angry and refuses to listen to him; she is convinced he has lied to her about everything. Roone knows he has clearly underestimated Jessa. Jessa wants answers and the only way she is going to get them is to go to the Winston Isles. Jessa has been hiding her whole life; told to fear everyone, question everything and trust no one. While she had loved her father, she owes it to herself to find out the whole truth. Jessa heads for a place she knows nothing about, to people she didn’t know to see if she can uncover the mystery of where she came from. Not only are several attempts made on Jessa’s life, but she has a legitimate stalker too; there is only one way Roone can protect Jessa properly, but this incites jealousy too. Meanwhile, Ariel has more pressing matters than her Meet Cute app and Evan’s insistence on seeing her database; she has been set-up. Someone is not just looking at Jessa’s files, they are looking for dirt on all the royals and their weaknesses; anything sketchy they had done before. Finally, Roone learns some interesting news from his half-brother Reese that makes an impact on his life, while Jessa realizes, Phillipe, her father’s long-time friend, may have instigated much of her father’s paranoid over the years; but for what reason and will his plan come to fruition? A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review. I voluntarily read this book and my comments here are my honest opinion.

You know how there are those books that you read and think to yourself, I will never subject myself to another one of this author’s cliffhangers? And you do it anyway? Over and over and over again? Yeah, that’s exactly how I feel about Nana Malone and her EPIC cliffhangers. Teasing the Princess is the second part to Royal Tease. And as we all remember, Royal Tease ended with one of the BEST cliffhangers of all time. And by best, I mean I was using all of the colorful words known to man, and even some made up ones, because I have ZERO patience. Well, thank you baby Jesus, here come the answers.

Roone and Jessa are probably my favorite Nana Malone characters. Roone is the strikingly gorgeous bodyguard, in case you forgot. And Jess is our feisty, gorgeous princess. Their love isn’t perfect. And it sure as heck isn’t easy. But they fight for each other and I adored that so much about them. Each character brings so much to the table. I related to each of them in different ways. Jessa’s giving nature and independence made my heart sing. And Roone’s confidence is downright addicting. I may have even caught a little of his attitude after reading these two books.

I refuse to give a single, tiny spoiler away so I will say this – you will laugh, you will cry, you will curl your toes and you will jump on your couch and declare “I am woman, hear me roar”. Teasing the Princess is EVERYTHING you have been waiting for. And when you finally read the last page? You’ll be crying, kicking and screaming for more.

This book picks up where Royal Tease left off and it does not disappoint. Once again we are drawn into a world of intrigue, travel, swoons, smiles and heat. I don’t just mean the heat from Winston Isles. You won’t be disappointed. In addition, the cliffhanger is tied up for us.
Roone has committed himself to protecting Jessa at any cost but the trick is to find her.
Jessa is determined to find out the answers to the questions she’s had for most of her life. She’s not sure who to trust and who to put her faith in. Jessa really comes into her own in this book. Even though Roone is equally represented in this book in my opinion it is Jessa’s story. One of the best aspects of the author’s books in this series are the strong women representations. I also like the diversity of culture, characters and careers. These characters are so much more than two dimensional.
We are also treated to revisiting with characters from past books and new characters that I’m hoping to see more in future stories. I can’t wait for Ariel’s book. There’s so much more to her than meets the eye. It’s nice to see that family can be more than DNA. If you read or read these books you will see what I mean.
I do believe to get the full effect from this story you need to read the first book (in my opinion you should read the whole series, just saying). You will be happy you did.
I read this book in one sitting. It’s a fast read but also that good, Can’t wait for the next book in the series.

What a wonderful conclusion to the Royals United series. Teasing the Princess picks up where Royal Tease left off. Jessa is on the run after she believed she was betrayed by the only man she loved and learned to trust. Now she is trying to uncover the truth about her heritage and who she can really trust. After being on the run her whole life, she is conflicted when she arrives on the Winston Isles. She thinks she is spying on the enemy but feels at home and like she finally belongs to a place and a family. Roone is beside himself for letting Jessa slip away. He is so in love with her, and needs to find a way to make her trust him again. As Jessa and Roone reconnect, their fiery chemistry is hotter than ever. They also work with the whole royal crew, trying to uncover who is behind the threats to their monarchy. There are so many questions that need to be answered. Ms. Malone unravels the answers expertly adding in several plot twists that keep you guessing. I loved that all the family and friends we've grown to love from the past stories are all involved and essential in this book. There was still the wonderful humor that Ms Malone does so well, along with intrigue and emotion that kept me totally engaged. She also weaved in an intriguing story line with Ariel, and I can't wait for her story next! This is a wonderful conclusion to this series but I hope to see more of all of these royals in Royal Elite!

I liked this book so much better than the first!

Teasing the Princess picks up right where Royal Tease ended. After a little bit of a slow start, mostly because my brain was trying to remember what I had read before and catch up, the book really took off. Roone and team are frantically trying to locate the missing princess. Her ally, her father's professor friend, is missing and has apparently been taken by the same people who are out to get Jessa. On top of the "overthrow the monarchy" conspiracy, there are a couple side plots that increase the action.

What I liked: This book doesn't have the "what are they talking about??" aspect that the first one did. There was no problem following the story or knowing what everyone was talking about. Also, after a bit of a rough start, Roone and Jessa finally bloom into a full relationship and it's fantastic. They really get each other and respect each other. Other things to love: all the strong female characters. There isn't one damsel in distress in this whole book.

What I didn't like: Nothing really stands out as a dislike. I did have trouble getting back into the story at first, but that only lasted a chapter or two. I was quickly engrossed in the book and didn't want to put it down.

Overall: A fantastic conclusion to the duet. I do recommend reading both books at the same time, though. If you haven't yet read Royal Tease, get both at the same time. You will want to go straight from one to the other, trust me.

Teasing the Princess by Nana Malone is a great read. This is the 4th book that I have read by this author and she doesn’t disappoint her readers. This is the 2nd book in her Royal United Series. I will definitely be reading more by this author. I couldn’t put my kindle down!
Teasing the Princess picks up where Royal Tease left off. Jessa escapes from Roone because she feels like he is the enemy that her father was constantly warning her about. Ariel finds Roone unconscious because Jessa shot him with a tranquilizer dart. From here the adventure begins with Roone trying to find his love Jessa the missing princess.
Does Roone find his fair princess Jessa? Do Jessa and Roone give in to the chemistry that is strong between them? Finally, does the couple have their happily ever after? You will have to read Teasing the Princess by Nana Malone to find out!
Nana Malone gives you what you want in a romance novel. Teasing the Princess has plenty of romance, sex, love, and suspense. This book was also fast paced and it kept me in suspense. So make sure you read Teasing the Princess.

Teasing the Princess picks up right where Royal Tease left off. We finally got to read the conclusion to Roone and Jessa’s rocky romance.

Jessa feels deeply betrayed by Roone for keeping the fact she is a princess and he was sent in because her brothers (brothers she didn’t know she had) wanted him to be her bodyguard. She was hurt not knowing what was real. She fell for him and that what hurts the most so she did what she knows best and ran. Roone was devastated not knowing where Jessa was and if she was safe. When he eventually sees her again, he is deeply remorseful but Jessa is not having any of it and she wants distance from him. While dealing with that, she gets close to her family and she finally finds her home but her stalker and threats to the crown come in the way and threaten her new found family. Roone is always there watching her back and keeping her safe making Jessa remember all the reasons she fell for him.

The reason for my rating is that I found the ending rushed and the stuff with her stalker and how she tried to talk him down stupid. It’s mean but that’s how I felt. Some parts of this book just did not make sense and I feel like it was glossed over. I deeply enjoyed Royal Tease. It was a 5 star read for me and I’m disappointed in feeling like this after reading this book.

So we have finally come to the conclusion of the Royals United series. It feels like it took forever for Teasing the Princess to come out!!! Or maybe that is because I have been anxiously waiting for this book!!! We pick up where we left off with in Royal Tease with Jessa and Roone, and their standoff. The twist thrown in on how it concludes is hilarious! There is a TON of action as well and more from our favorite other royals in this book. I really liked their inclusion because, it tied the other novels in the Royal Universe to Teasing the Princess. It makes the story arcs seem more realistic verses knowing these characters are related but they don’t interact much because it isn’t their story. It is also nice that the guys from Blake Security are still being included in the Royals series, I just wish that they weren’t just background players (but it isn’t their universe so it is expected, I just love that universe as well!). Also, I love that Nana finally listened to us and gave us more of Ariel!!!!!
My only complaint about Teasing the Princess is that there was some level of predictability in a few of the “twists” but if you aren’t ready for a little cheese and predictability in a romance novel, you are reading the wrong genre. I can’t wait to where Nana takes us next with Ariel’s story!

Ms. Malone has given her readers a Royal Flush with this series and Teasing the Princess is another winning read! Jessa is such an engaging character who is a bit suspicious of her new found royalty and the people in her life. I love how the author includes all the previous characters so that when given a new book in the series, it is like you are catching up with old friends. I love this series and if you haven't started reading this series, get to it. ~Helen

"
Roone and Jessa are just a perfect fit. Too bad neither of them is convinced of that.

Jessa is trying to come to terms with the fact that she has family and her inquisitiveness puts her front and center into the Team Winston Isles family mix. Jessa is as bad-assed as Penny and she gives Roone a run for his money. The camaraderie of Team WI is endearing. This sexy story had angst, intrigue, and just the right amount of sweet in the mix. There were so many moments in this story that had me laughing. I loved it!

""""Why are you like this? Why are you so damn--sweet? It makes it really hard to stay angry with you.""
""I'm pretty sure I'm the one who gets hard.""
I threw my hands up . ""Oh my God. I was having a moment.""
He chuckled low. ""I'm sorry, go ahead.""""" ~Cindy
