INSTRUCTIONS: we'd love to have you part of our community Slack group for the Responsible Tech ecosystem! This is an application form for the free service we provide, as we run a social network for the Responsible Tech field. We currently have over 8k members from 88 countries and a wide variety of backgrounds, experience levels, and perspectives.

All Tech Is Human's Slack community helps individuals in the Responsible Tech ecosystem connect with one another, discuss research, share events, learn about careers and job opportunities, and more. In addition, we have channels for specific locations to allow for people to collaborate based on vicinity.

Our definition for the Responsible Tech space focuses on limiting the harms of technology, diversifying the tech pipeline, and ensuring that technology is aligned with the public interest. Key topic areas include Responsible AI, Trust & Safety/healthy digital spaces, Tech & Democracy, Public Interest Technology, and Youth/Tech/Wellbeing. Our work strengthens the overall Responsible Tech ecosystem so we can better tackle wicked tech & society issues and co-create a tech future that is aligned with our interests.

All Tech Is Human is a non-profit committed to strengthening the Responsible Tech ecosystem so we can tackle wicked tech & society issues and co-create a tech future aligned with the public interest. We believe we can build a better tech future by having a more robust ecosystem that promotes knowledge-sharing & collaboration, creating a more conducive environment to tackle complex tech & society issues at the speed of tech, and diversifying the traditional tech pipeline with more backgrounds, disciplines, and lived experiences.

Our activities fall under three main categories: multistakeholder convening & community-building, multidisciplinary education, and diversifying the traditional tech pipeline with more backgrounds, disciplines, and lived experiences.

Our theory of change is that we can build a better tech future by creating a global, multistakeholder, multidisciplinary network that moves at the speed of tech. Since our founding in 2018, we have discovered that there is an immense passion from a diverse range of people from a variety of backgrounds to get involved in how technology is developed & deployed, but there are limited pathways for these individuals to get involved. That is the problem we are solving by building a more cohesive movement that is conducive for bringing in new voices.

We have a lot of projects and activities! You can see them all here:
