TERRE HAUTE, Ind. (WTWO/WAWV) — An event was held on Monday to provide a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion for all students, faculty, and staff at Indiana State University.

The third annual Diversity in Business Symposium brought together a diverse group of professionals to share their business experiences. The event included opportunities as well as challenges they may have faced, in supporting a more inclusive work environment.

“And we are so happy because we have faculty and staff and students,” Milton Soto-Ferrari associate professor in the Scott College of Business said. “The students were asking amazing questions related to the implementation of diversity into business or prospective professional lives.”

Soto-Ferrari said this event is about the culture of the students and he noted they are looking forward to their continued engagement in the process.
